John 7:40-42
Disciples’ Literal New Testament

40 Then some from the crowd, having heard these words, were saying “This One is truly the Prophet[a]”. 41 Others were saying “This One is the Christ”. But the[b] ones were saying “The Christ is not indeed[c] coming from Galilee, is He? 42 Did not the Scripture say that the Christ comes from the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”
